In 2004, after much hard work, CIC opened the Cairo campus of Cape Breton University with more than 250 students & 2 schools: Business & Engineering Technology. By 2005, our student development office was born, as our approach was always modern & practical learning. We activated our cooperative agreement with more than 40 companies to help our students get experience in their fields. We expanded again in 2008 with the School of Mass Communication. A couple of years later, we took our approach & success to Sheikh Zayed, where we built our second campus in 2012.
Mission
CIC is committed to offering an exceptional academic environment that helps students to gain the knowledge, the skills, and the professional ethics to compete locally – and with the partnership of the Canadian universities – internationally. The institute supports scientific research, academic excellence, and community outreach, thereby producing well-rounded graduate who are involved in their communities.
