On the occasion of the GUC 15th anniversary and the Graduation of Class 2017 that includes more than 2100 B.Sc. M.Sc., MBA, and PhD; German University in Cairo campus hosted more than 500 officials from Ulm, Stuttgart, Berlin, and Bonn as well as different German and Egyptian officials.
GUC 15th anniversary
On this occasion – that marks the GUC 15th anniversary – Prof. Ashraf Mansour, GUC Prime Founder and The Chairman of the Board of Trustees gave a speech where he expressed his full support, pride, and honor to have such an achievement. He asked every graduate to pursue the path of learning that was initiated by the GUC. He expressed his happiness to have such a noble gathering that marks a cornerstone for a fruitful future. He expressed the fact that GUC as a binational German/Egyptian institute benchmarks a success story and a model to follow in different aspects.

The German Ambassador to Egypt, H.E Julius George Luy, gave a speech marking the excellent cooperation and Education model that GUC leads. He expressed his appreciation to the role that GUC plays in strengthening the cooperation between Germany and Egypt.
President of the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD Prof. Margret Wintermantel asked the graduates to pursue their role in strengthening the German-Egyptian cooperation. She expressed her gratitude to the role that GUC is representing in the field of education.
Deans of Pharmacy and biotechnology, Information Engineering and technology, Architecture and Urban Design gave speeches that mark a new phase for the graduates’ life.
In addition, GUC celebrated the graduation of M.Sc. MBA, and PhD for Class 2017. Faculty of postgraduate studies vice Dean conducted the GUC pledge where it was preceded by Class 2017 group photo.
The GUC music ensemble performed a musical classical interlude featuring works by German, Egyptian, and international musicians.
